Depending on where you live in St. Thomas, you could find yourself without power for several hours on Monday.
Entegrus, an electrical distribution company that serves parts of southwestern Ontario, will be shutting off the power for dozens of customers in the east-end of the city from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The outage is planned to allow crews to replace faulty equipment.
The outage will affect homes and businesses on Bodkin Street, Highview Drive, Lexington Court, Steeplechase Court, and Windemere Place.
Customers will be notified by phone about the planned power outage, the company said.
Drivers who encounter traffic lights that are out during the four hour period hydro is switched off are reminded to treat them as four-way stops.
