One person is in police custody after a fatal stabbing in London on Friday morning.
At around 9:50 a.m., London police responded to an address on Forbes Street, several blocks west of Wharncliffe Road South, near Briscoe Street West, after receiving a 911 call about a stabbing.
When officers arrived, a man was located with a serious stab wound. He was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. He has since died, police said Friday afternoon.
A suspect was located shortly after police arrived and they have been taken into custody. No formal charges have been announced. Investigators believe the suspect and the victim are known to one another.
Members of the Major Crime Section have been assigned to the case, few other details have been provided as the investigation is still in its early stages.
