New IBL app to offer league news, live broadcasts

Intercounty Baseball League (IBL) fans have a new way to stay on top of league action.

The IBL launched its official mobile application on Tuesday . The app will provide those who download it with the latest league news, live game broadcasts, scores, and statistics. Official team merchandise and game tickets can also be purchased through the app.

“The IBL set several attendance records last season and our fanbase is growing at rapid pace," said IBL Commissioner Ted Kalnins. "Delivering a high-quality mobile app that will enhance our fans’ ability to follow their favourite teams was a major priority for 2024 and we are thrilled with the result."

The app is already available for iOS on the Apple App Store and soon to be available for Android devices through the Google Play Store.

The league has teams in London, Chatham-Kent, Barrie, Brantford, Guelph, Hamilton, Kitchener, Toronto, and Welland. The 2024 season will be the league's 106th in operation.
