Nearly $340K in drugs, stolen vehicles found in London, Thorndale

Three people are facing charges after $339,795 worth of drugs and stolen vehicles were seized in police raids at homes in London and Thorndale.

The searches conducted Tuesday were the culmination of a month-long investigation by Stratford police. Officers with the London Police Service emergency response and mobile surveillance units and OPP surveillance and tactics and rescue units searched a home on King Street in Thorndale and a home on Sanders Street in London. They turned up 191 grams of fentanyl, 290 grams of methamphetamine, 29 grams of cocaine, 116 Oxycodone pills, 30 codeine, 500 mg acetaminophen pills, 100 clonazepam pills, 2059 benzimidazole pills, 38 adderall pills, 1 gram of Crack, and 237 hydromorphone pills.

Over $22,000 in cash was also seized.

In addition to the drugs and money, police found three stolen vehicles - a Range Rover, Lexus, and Challenger. Another vehicle was seized as proceeds of crime.

The estimated value of the drugs is $89,795 and the vehicles are valued at a combined $250,000.

A 29-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman from Thorndale and a 54-year-old London man are charged with several offences including possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking. Two of the accused have been released from custody while the third was held for a bail hearing, police said.
