London Man Charged In Pot Bust

A 28-year-old man has been charged after police seized almost $45,000 worth of marijuana in a London drug bust.

On Thursday, officers with the London Police Service and the RCMP executed a search warrant at a home on Villiagewalk Blvd. and another location on Bradley Ave.

During their search, officers seized 4,419 g of marijuana valued at $44,190 and $22,000 in cash.  Police say five Oxycodone pills and 13 g of cocaine valued at $1,300 were also seized, along with brass knuckles and a weigh scale.

Stephen Nadeau, 28, of London is now charged with possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking, possession of a Schedule II substance for the purpose of trafficking, unlawfully possessing a Schedule I substance, and possessing a Schedule II substance that is not in an excess amount.  He is also facing a charge of possession of a prohibited/restricted weapon.
