The severe thunderstorm that blew through Southern Ontario left London-Middlesex and surrounding counties in a mess.
The storm, which brought wind gusts up to 100 km/h, hail, and rain, hit the area just before noon and caused power outages, property damage, and tree damage.
Shortly after the storm passed London Hydro reported over 100 power outages all over the city. Just after 8 p.m. the hydro company's outage map showed 83 outages remaining.
