A 34-year-old St. Thomas man is facing a charge of sexual assault after an incident inside an apartment in the city earlier this week.
London police began investigating after a resident reported the attack on Thursday. Officers were told the incident happened the evening prior at an apartment on Talbot Street.
A St. Thomas man, whose name was not released, was arrested without incident following an investigation. He has been charged with one count of sexual assault.
The man appeared in court where he was remanded into custody, police said.
