London police are asking the public for help in identifying suspects seen near a February fire.
At around 4:20 p.m. on February 7, London firefighters responded to a fire outside CF Masonville Place at Richmond Street and Fanshawe Park Road East.
The fire had been put out when police arrived on the scene.
The investigation was turned over to the Street Crime Unit, which studied video surveillance and identified four suspects.
The first is described as a Middle Eastern male, 18 to 25 years old, with a medium build, and approximately 5’ 9” to 6’ 2”. He was wearing black pants, a grey top with a black winter toque covering the ears with headphones over top of the toque.
The second is a Middle Eastern male, 18 to 25 years old, with a medium build, and approximately 5’ 9” to 6’ 2”. He was wearing black pants, a black top with a red logo, and a dark green jacket with an oversized hood. He had black hair and was wearing glasses.
The third suspect is a White or Middle Eastern male, 18 to 25 years old, with a medium build, and approximately 5’ 9” to 6’ 2”. He was wearing white shoes, blue jeans, a black t-shirt with a black zip-up sweater, and a white baseball hat with the Nike logo on the front. He was carrying a black coat and a green coloured backpack.
The fourth suspect is a White or Middle Eastern male, 18 to 25 years old, with a medium build, and approximately 5’ 9” to 6’ 2”. He was wearing dark-coloured pants, and a black hoodie, with an oversized black puffy coat. He had short brown hair and wore a large chain.
Anyone in the area at the time of the fire or who may recognize any of the men should call London police's Street Crime Unit at (519) 661-5670. Police would also like to speak with any of the people matching these descriptions.
