It's going to be a hot, humid next few days in Southwestern Ontario.
Environment Canada says a heat warning is in effect for much of the region, including London-Middlesex, Elgin, Oxford, Chatham-Kent, and Windsor-Essex.
The weather agency says temperatures are expected to reach the low thirties Sunday and Monday, feeling close to 40°C with the humidity. Temperatures will only drop to the low 20s in the evening, offering little relief from the heat.
Environment Canada says a cold front will move across Southern Ontario Monday night ending the heat streak.
It is recommended that people seek a cool place like a tree-shaded area, swimming pool, shower or bath, or air-conditioned spot like a public building.
People or pets should never be left inside a parked vehicle.
