A London high school was briefly put into lock down mode after reports of a stranger on the property.
Police were called to Sir Frederick Banting Secondary School at 125 Sherwood Forest Square on Friday afternoon and the school initiated a lockdown as a precaution around 1:15 p.m.
"London Police were immediately called and the lockdown was lifted at 2:10 p.m after officers searched the building and determined there was no risk to public safety," a letter sent to parents said.
The letter also said the school commends students and staff for their cooperation and "careful attention to our school safety procedures."
