London police are hoping the public can help them identify a woman believed to have been the driver in a hit and run that injured a pedestrian.
According to police, around 9 a.m. on September 25, a woman was walking on a sidewalk in the area of Dundas Street and Edmonton Street when she was hit by a driver that was pulling out of a gas station. The driver, who was behind the wheel of a grey Ford Escape, took off from the scene.
The pedestrian's injuries were minor.
Police have released surveillance photos that show the vehicle and a partial image of the driver (shown above). She is described as being Caucasian, with a thin build, likely between 20 and 25-years-old. She had straight brown hair that was in a ponytail. She was wearing black leggings and a light coloured sweatshirt over a black shirt.
The Ford Escape she was driving has a licence plate number that begin with the letter "C".
