Evan Bouchard scored twice for the Knights but London still fell 8-4 to the Barrie Colts on Friday.
Barrie kicked off the game with a goal just over five minutes into the first period, but Bouchard tied the game with a goal for London just 35 seconds after. The Colts scored late in the first to take a 2-1 lead heading into the second.
Barrie scored another two back-to-back goals in the first half of the second frame, and Bouchard scored his second of the night for London to cut the Colts' lead in half 4-2. The Colts added another goal 12:16 into the period, but London kept fighting back with Jacob Golden scoring for the Knights after 15:15.
Alex Formenton opened the third period with a goal to bring London within one point of Barrie, but the Colts managed to score three unanswered goals before the buzzer to double the Knights.
Barrie also outshot London 36-21.
The Knights are back on the ice on Saturday to battle the Sting in Sarnia, The puck drops at 3:30pm.
